Referral tracking works automatically through unique referral links first. When someone clicks a referral link and submits the form, it is recorded as a referral and attributed to the referrer.
If your campaign also uses referral codes, the code can be captured later at signup, booking, checkout, purchase, or inside another system. You can then qualify the referral through upload, API, webhooks, or an integration.
For a fuller explanation of attribution, qualification, and reporting options, read our referral tracking guide.

Where to view tracking data

  • Analytics tab shows your conversion rate, daily leads chart, users by source, device breakdown, social shares, and a Power Users leaderboard — all filterable by date range
  • Dashboard overview shows a Campaign Analytics panel with Total Reach, Referral Links, Total Leads, and Qualified Leads at a glance (visible once the Quick Setup Guide has been dismissed)
  • Referrers tab shows all referrals per referrer, including reach count (how many people viewed the link) and conversion counts
  • Leads tab shows all referred people and their current status

Reach vs. referrals vs. conversions

  • Reach is the total number of times your campaign has been viewed (by both referrers and leads)
  • Referrals are people who submitted the form via a referral link or were attributed later using a referral code
  • Conversions are referrals that have been qualified (approved)

How can a referrer see their stats?

Your individual referrers can log into the Branded Referral Portal to see their stats.
