This article covers how to sign into your Referral Factory dashboard and what to do if you cannot access your account.

Signing in

Referral Factory offers four ways to sign in to your dashboard:
  • Email and password — enter the email address and password you used when you registered.
  • Magic link — switch to the Login with magic link tab, enter your email, and click Send magic link. You will receive an email with a one-time login link. No password required.
  • Continue with Google — click Continue with Google to sign in with your Google account. If your Google email matches an existing Referral Factory account, it will be linked automatically.
  • Login with SSO — if your organisation has set up SAML-based Single Sign-On, click Login with SSO and enter your business email. You will be redirected to your identity provider to authenticate.

Resetting your password

If you have forgotten your password:
The reset link is valid for 60 minutes. If it expires, simply request a new one. For security, there is a 60-second wait between reset requests.
  • On the login page, click Forgot password?.
  • Enter the email address associated with your account and click Send reset link.
  • Check your inbox for an email with a password reset link. Click the link.
  • Choose a new password. It must be at least 8 characters and include uppercase and lowercase letters, a number, and a special character.

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

For extra security, you or your team admin can enable two-factor authentication. Once enabled, you will be asked to enter a 6-digit code from an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator) each time you sign in.
To set up 2FA, sign in and follow the on-screen prompts to scan a QR code with your authenticator app. If your team requires secure login, 2FA may be mandatory for your account.

I'm not receiving the reset email

If the password reset email does not arrive:
  • Check your spam or junk folder.
  • Make sure you are entering the exact email address you registered with. The system will always say a link has been sent, even if no matching account exists — this is a security measure.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds before requesting a new link.
  • If you still cannot find the email, contact support.

I'm locked out and none of the above helps

If you cannot sign in using any method, contact our support team with the email address associated with your account and we will help you regain access.
