There are two distinct types of links in Referral Factory, and it helps to understand the difference. The campaign join link is the public sign-up URL for your Branded Referral Portal — it's where people go to register as referrers. Each referrer then receives their own unique referral link, which they use to refer contacts.
Campaign join link (your portal sign-up URL)
This is the URL of your Branded Referral Portal — the public sign-up page where anyone can register to become a referrer in your program. You can share it on your website, in emails, or on social media. Find it under Onboard Referrers → Branded Referral Portal. If someone asks for 'the campaign link', this is usually what they mean.
Unique referral links
When someone joins your program, they receive a unique referral link. This link is delivered in three ways:
- On the confirmation page immediately after signing up
- Via the Welcome Email (make sure this is enabled under Email Notifications)
- In follow-up and reminder emails
How can referrers retrieve their link later?
Referrers can return to your campaign page and enter their email address to access their unique link and dashboard. They can also find it in any of the emails they received from your program.
