- Is the integration actually connected? Go to Campaign Settings → Integrations and API → CRM tab. Confirm your CRM shows as Connected (green badge), not just installed.
- Are qualification rules configured? Open the Leads tab inside your CRM integration settings. Confirm a qualification method is selected and saved — it should not be set to "Do not qualify my referrals".
- Is the qualification trigger happening correctly in your CRM? The qualification rule only fires when the specific property or stage you selected actually changes to the specified value. Verify that your CRM workflow or sales process is actually setting that property.
- Is the duplicate handling blocking qualification? If duplicate handling is set to "do nothing" and the lead already existed as a contact in your CRM before they were referred, they will never qualify. This is intentional fraud prevention — existing customers cannot qualify.
- Was the lead created in Referral Factory first? Qualification only works on leads who are already in your Referral Factory campaign. If the CRM contact was not captured via a referral link, there is no referral to qualify.
