Field population can take up to 30 minutes after a referral event. If fields are still empty after that, the issue is likely in your field mapping configuration.

Troubleshooting steps

  • Go to Campaign > Integrations > Salesforce and verify the correct Salesforce fields are mapped.
  • Check that the fields you expect to see populated actually exist on the Salesforce object (Lead, Contact, or Opportunity) you're mapping to.
  • Confirm the referral was successfully created in Referral Factory by checking the Leads tab.

If it's still not working

Send support a full-page screenshot of the Contact or Lead record in Salesforce showing the empty fields, along with the user's email address to support@referral-factory.com so our team can investigate the specific sync event.
