Overview

Short answer: No. Referral Factory does not add hidden platform fees. Your subscription price is clear, and any additional costs are tied to things you choose - such as the value of rewards you fund, paid third-party services, extra user capacity, or specific Enterprise requirements agreed with you upfront.
The aim is to make it easy to understand what you are paying for before you launch. Here are the main costs and limits to plan for.

What does my Referral Factory subscription include?

All current Referral Factory plans include the core software you need to build, launch, track, and manage referral campaigns. This includes referral links and codes, campaign pages, tracking and analytics, rewards functionality, fraud alerts, and integrations.
Current monthly pricing starts at:
Annual billing is also available with a 20% saving. All current plans include unlimited campaigns, so you are not charged each time you create another referral campaign.
  • Basic - $200/month for up to 20,000 users
  • Pro - $400/month for up to 40,000 users
  • Enterprise - starting at $1,000/month for 100,000+ users

Do I pay extra for rewards?

Referral Factory includes the tools to create reward rules, track rewards, approve them, and issue them through supported methods. What is not included in your software subscription is the actual value of the reward itself.
For example, if you choose to give someone a $50 gift card for a successful referral, your business funds that $50 reward. Referral Factory helps manage when and how the reward is issued, but it does not add the reward value to your subscription.
If you use a provider such as Tremendous, PayPal, or another connected service, the reward funds come from your account with that provider. Any fees charged by that provider are separate from Referral Factory.

Are there limits on how many people can join?

Yes. Each plan includes a user allowance. A user is anyone who joins your referral campaign, whether they join as a Referrer or as a Lead.
The current allowances are 20,000 users on Basic, 40,000 on Pro, and 100,000+ on Enterprise. If your program grows beyond your allowance, additional capacity can be added rather than forcing you to rebuild your program or open a separate account.

Do integrations cost extra?

Referral Factory does not charge an extra integration fee for connecting supported tools. Integrations, webhooks, and API access are included across the current plans.
The service you connect may have its own subscription, usage, or transaction fees. For example, your HubSpot, Salesforce, Zapier, Make, Tremendous, PayPal, or other provider account remains separate from your Referral Factory subscription.

Are some features only available on higher plans?

Yes, but these are plan differences rather than hidden charges. The core referral platform remains consistent, while higher plans add more control, branding, support, scale, and governance.
PlanWhat it is designed for
BasicSelf-managed referral programs with unlimited campaigns, core tracking, analytics, rewards, integrations, webhooks, and API access.
ProEverything in Basic, plus a fully white-labelled experience, SAML SSO, email verification, teammate access, and guided onboarding.
EnterpriseEverything in Pro, plus managed rollout, a dedicated account manager, procurement and security support, custom agreements, invoice billing, self-hosted data options, and custom HTML.

Could my final cost ever be higher than the advertised plan price?

Only when you choose something beyond the standard plan allowance or setup. Common examples are additional user capacity, the rewards you fund, a paid third-party service, or specific Enterprise requirements.
For Enterprise customers, any additional commercial requirements are discussed during the sales and procurement process and reflected in your quote, order form, or agreement before you commit. They are not added later as surprise charges.

What should I budget for?

For most businesses, the full cost of running a referral program comes down to four things:
Compare the current plans in Which Referral Factory Plan Is Right for My Business? and confirm the latest figures on the Referral Factory pricing page.
Step 1
Your Referral Factory subscription.
Step 2
The rewards or incentives you choose to fund.
Step 3
Any separate costs from third-party tools you already use or choose to connect.
Step 4
Extra capacity or custom Enterprise requirements, if you need them.
