Rewards are configured at the campaign level from the Rewards page in the left sidebar. You can offer cash payouts (fixed or commission-based), gift cards, or custom rewards — and you can reward the referrer, the referred person, or both.

Step-by-step

For a detailed walkthrough of each step, see How to set up a reward.
  • Go to Rewards in the left sidebar
  • Click Manage Rewards in the top-right corner
  • Click Add New Reward
  • Step 1: Choose who receives the reward (Referrer or Lead) and the reward type (Fixed Amount, Commission Amount, or Custom Reward)
  • Step 2: Configure the reward amount, currency, and frequency (one-time or ongoing). Toggle Fraud Protection on (recommended) to only reward qualified referrals.
  • Step 3: Choose the issuing method (Issue Yourself, Tremendous, Stripe Credits, PayPal, Webhooks, Zapier, Make.com, or N8n), set the reward name, and configure Auto Issue and Reward Limit if needed.
  • Click Activate to make the reward live

Setting reward limits

You can cap the number of rewards a single participant can earn. This is configured per reward in Step 3 of the reward setup — toggle on Reward Limit and set the maximum number (e.g. 10). This is useful if you want to limit exposure — for example, allowing each referrer to earn a maximum of 10 rewards.

Double-sided rewards

To reward both the referrer and the referred person, create two separate reward configurations — one for the Referrer and one for the Lead. Each can have different types, amounts, and issuing methods.
