Referral Factory offers several ways to let people join and participate in your referral program. The right option depends on whether you need a publicly accessible sign-up experience or a logged-in, embedded experience.

Options for publicly accessible websites

These options allow anyone to sign up as a referrer — no login or account required.

Branded Referral Portal

The Branded Referral Portal is a dedicated sign-up and dashboard page for your referral program. It can be hosted on your own custom domain and fully branded to match your website — your logo, colours, and design. You can then link to it from your website footer, a navigation menu, or any marketing material, just like any other page on your site.

Website Widget

The Website Widget adds a floating tab or button to your website that opens the referral sign-up form in a pop-up. It appears on every page of your site, making it easy for visitors to join your referral program without navigating away. You can customise the button text, colour, and position.

Options for logged-in environments

These options are designed to be embedded inside your product or platform, where users are already signed in. They allow you to embed the referral experience as part of your app or dashboard.

Lead Submission Form

Embed a form inside your logged-in product that lets referrers submit leads directly — without needing to share a link. This is ideal when your referrers are already inside your platform and can quickly name a contact they want to refer.

Where to find these options

All of the above options are available under the Onboard Referrers section in the left-hand sidebar.

Which option should I choose?

  • If you want a public-facing sign-up page that looks like your brand, use the Branded Referral Portal. You can link to it from your site like any other page.
  • If you want referral sign-up to be accessible from every page on your public website, use the Website Widget.
  • If your referrers are already logged into your platform and you want them to submit leads directly, use the Lead Submission Form.
