Overview

reCAPTCHA is a type of CAPTCHA that helps reduce scripted form submissions. You can turn it on from Campaign Settings.

Enable reCAPTCHA in Campaign Settings

Step 1
Open the campaign you want to protect.
Step 2
Select Campaign Settings in the campaign sidebar.
Step 3
Scroll to Advanced Settings.
Step 4
Expand reCAPTCHA Configuration.
Step 5
Turn on Enable reCAPTCHA.
Step 6
Test the public referral journey before you launch or promote the campaign.

Turn on reCAPTCHA from Advanced Settings and test the public referral journey.

When should I use reCAPTCHA?

It is useful when your campaign is public, receives unexpected automated traffic, or offers a reward that makes scripted sign-ups attractive.
reCAPTCHA only helps with automation. It does not confirm that someone is eligible for a reward or that a referral is genuine. Use it alongside the other controls that fit your campaign.
reCAPTCHA is one layer of protection. Review the bot-sign-up guide and the broader fraud-prevention guide before issuing high-value rewards.
