Can someone submit a referral without leaving my website?

A Sticky Bar can be installed in a logged-in website or product. A customer selects its referral call to action, enters the contact’s details, and submits the form while staying in the current experience.

How does submitting a referral directly from my website work?

A customer selects the referral call to action in the Sticky Bar. The Sticky Bar opens its configured referral form, where the customer enters the referred person’s details. Referral Factory records the submission as a lead attributed to the customer who submitted it.
The Sticky Bar can open a referral form directly inside the website experience.

Who enters the referred person’s details?

The logged-in customer or referrer enters the referred person’s details directly. The referred person does not need to complete the first submission themselves. The fields shown depend on how the Sticky Bar referral form has been configured.

How does Referral Factory know who made the referral?

Because this method uses the logged-in customer context, the installation must identify the correct customer when the form opens. That identity is what connects the submission to the right referrer.

Can a referrer submit more than one person?

Yes. A referrer can submit more than one person by completing the form again for each referral. Referral Factory’s normal duplicate rules still apply if the same referred person is submitted more than once.

What happens after the referral is submitted?

The submitted person is added to the campaign’s Leads section and remains attributed to the referrer who submitted them. The lead can remain pending or become qualified according to the campaign’s qualification rules, and any reward follows the campaign’s reward setup.

Can referrals submitted this way still be qualified and rewarded?

Yes. Direct submission creates a lead attributed to the submitting referrer. The lead can then be qualified through the campaign’s configured qualification process. If the referral meets the campaign’s reward conditions, the configured reward can proceed according to the reward setup.

How do I enable direct referral submissions on my website?

Enable the Sticky Bar for the logged-in customer experience and configure its built-in referral form. For the full installation and configuration instructions, see What Is the Sticky Bar And How Do I Set It Up?
