Question 1

Which systems can Referral Factory integrate with?

Accepted Answer

Referral Factory supports common integration paths for CRMs, reward tools, payment platforms, webhooks, APIs, and automation tools. The best option depends on where your customer, lead, deal, or purchase data already lives.

Question 2

Should I use a native integration, webhook, or API?

Accepted Answer

Use a native integration when it covers your workflow, webhooks when another system needs to notify Referral Factory about an event, and the API when you need a custom backend integration controlled by your team.

Question 3

How do integrations affect referral qualification?

Accepted Answer

Integrations can qualify referrals when an external system confirms the right event, such as a deal stage, payment, subscription, or customer status. This helps Referral Factory reward referrers based on real business outcomes.

Question 4

What should I test before turning an integration on?

Accepted Answer

Test contact matching, campaign IDs, field mapping, qualification triggers, duplicate handling, and failed-event recovery. Use a test referral journey so you can confirm the connected system receives and sends the expected data.
