No. Referral Factory does not automatically delete referrers when they are removed from an Intercom segment, deactivated, or leave the company.

How referrer removal works

  • Referrers must be deleted manually from the Referrers tab in Referral Factory.
  • The Intercom integration only sends referrer information in and listens for qualification events — it does not track segment membership changes.
  • If a referrer is removed from an Intercom segment, they will remain active in Referral Factory unless you manually remove them.

To remove a referrer

  • Go to your campaign's Referrers tab.
  • Find the referrer by searching their email address.
  • Click the three dots on the far right of their row.
  • Select Delete.
